cards-x named exclusive Value Added Distributor for Matica Technologies in the UK
ID card printer distributor cards-x, who have offices based in Germany and the UK, are given exclusivity of the Matica Technologies desktop identification products in the UK, as well as Germany.
The products include the extremely popular EDIsecure XID 8 series of retransfer card printers, along with the most recent retransfer card printer offering, the Matica MC660, and the brand new direct-to-card, the Matica MC310.
cards-x UK managing director Andy Reeves said "We are extremely delighted and excited to be trusted with the distribution of Matica's desktop ID card printer products in the UK. cards-x GmbH have been distributing the products for almost 10 years now in Germany, and CEO Norman Kammerling added "cards-x have established a large install base of Matica products in the DACH region, through working closely with our ID resellers and system integrators, and this is the business model we will again use in the UK. We only sell our products through partners, so we do not compete with them".
Matica Technologies launched a unique partner program back in 2018 called M:Connect, which sees the distributor work hand in hand with the manufacturer, allowing both companies to better serve the channel ID business partners in each region, and the program has gone from strength to strength since it was implemented.
