Furthermore, the Entrust CR805 Retransfer ID Card Printer comes with primerless ID Printer ribbons which have a unique pigment ribbon formation that does not require a primer panel, enabling faster print speeds of 110 cards per hour.
The combination of primerless ribbon and retransfer film improves ID card durability with up to 50% more adhesion and abrasion resistance. Furthermore, primerless ribbons offer cost savings as a value-priced solution over primer supply options.
What security does the Artista CR805 offer?
In addition to the superior image quality delivered by the retransfer pigment ink ribbons, the Entrust Artista CR805 is the only retransfer ID card printer on the market offering colour tactile printing with gold, silver, copper, black, white, and clear foil ribbons.
Furthermore, the optional inline lamination module and tactile impression module provide enhanced security to the card, as well as UV printing and other security features that can be added to the cards to protect them from tampering and counterfeiting.
The security features don’t just stop there though… The Entrust CR805 comes with optional locks, secure boot which protects the system from malware or virus on boot-up, a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) manages the printer’s own TLS/SSL certificates and keys, the connection and data sent between software and printer is encrypted and lastly all customer data is encrypted and is not stored in the printer after printing is complete.
